People all around the world celebrated St Patrick's Day yesterday. St Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland. Can you tell me any symbols of this festival?
1-The best known symbol of St. Patrick's Day clover 3-leaf known as "Shamrock" and it symbolizes, among other things, good luckbut also rooted in Celtic traditions so also has magical connotations. St. Patrick used it to explain the mystery of the Trinity in his evangelical work as the Holy Trinity, as explained byholy was the same unit but with three different people, such as clover. Other symbols are the color green, derived from the clover, and the gnome Leprechaun, Irish floclore creature.
1. A traditional symbol of St. Patrick's Day is the shamrock. "Clover" is the common name for several different classes of three-leaf clovers native to Ireland. Originally, thae colour associated whit St Patrick's Day was blue but over the years the colour green and it's associaton whit St Patrick's Day grew. Other typical symbol are the leprachauns. The name leprechaun comes from the old Irish word "luchorpan" which means "little body." A leprechaun is an Irish fairy who looks like a small, old man about 2 feet tall. He is often dressed like a shoemaker, with a crooked hat and a leather apron.
Clover (on call "Searoy" is a type of small herb with leaves composed of three leaflets, and is the common name for any of several clover leaves of three native of Ireland. The Irish have considered shamrocks as symbols of good luck from the earliest times, and today many people of other nationalities have taken that belief. it has become the national symbol of Ireland, because of the legend that St. Patrick used it to illustrate the doctrine of the Trinity.
The Leprechaun is an Irish fairy. It resembles a small man, age (about 2 meters tall), often dressed like a shoemaker with a cocked hat and leather apron. According to legend, leprechauns are aloof, unfriendly, live alone, and spend their time making shoes. They also possess a hidden pot of gold. Treasure hunters can often find a leprechaun by the sound of his shoemaker's hammer. If undetected, it can be forced (under threat of physical violence) to reveal the location of his treasure, but the captor must keep their eyes on him every second. If the captor's eyes leave the leprechaun (and often tricks them into looking away), vanishes and all hopes of finding the lost treasure. Legend has it that you can find the elf and his pot of gold at the end of a rainbow.
the symbols are the shamrock, the colour green and a green cap with a black tape.
